Song of the Outback

Song of the Outback is a celebration of the Australian outback, its beauty, its past and its extraordinary people, told through a journey with legendary singer-songwriter John Williamson. Part travelogue, part environmental history and part music video, the documentary tells the story of the land through the stories of those who live there. One of Australia’s most famous singer-songwriters, Williamson visits some of the most spectacular places in the world during a tour of the arid countryside and meets the characters who survive and thrive in the harsh terrain.
