Quantum - Billion Dollar Blood
In the early 1980s, a young Sydney man gave blood. He didn't know he was infected with the AIDS virus and that the deadly microbe in his blood would be passed on to at least eight other patients through transfusions. But instead of coming down with the most feared decease of the twentieth century, the recipients of the virus-contaminated blood (and the woman who discovered them) went on to make medical history. The result could be the world's first effective AIDS vaccine.
