The Oldest Living Tasmanian - Huon Pine

The untold story of Australia's most prized tree, the Huon Pine, and the many worlds that surround it. We track the influence of this wood on the development of Tasmania and the early "piners" it enticed into the pristine wilderness in search of its valuable timber. Unique to Tasmania, its history - as told through rare archival material and the first hand accounts of those loggers and early settlers still alive today - is a celebration of a pioneering past we may never see again.
