Featuring Malcolm Fraser, John Howard, Bob Hawke and Paul Keating. Episode 2: Growing Pains In the 1980s the economy is radically overhauled by the Hawke/Keating government. The challenge was how to manage the bumpy roller coaster of the free market. Features Bob Hawke, Paul Keating and John Howard. Episode 3: Australia's Second Chance George Megalogenis goes into the eye of the global economic storm of the GFC and hears from the political leaders on whose watch it happened.
