It's unusual for Landline in that this story is not about a farmer or a property but a boat, a wooden boat that changed the fortune of an entire town.
The Tacoma was Australia's first purpose-built tuna fishing vessel. It began catching bluefin off the coast of Port Lincoln in the early '50s and it transformed the fishing industry in this country forever.
