Compass - Why Christianity Must Change

John Shelby Spong wants to overturn conventional Christian thinking. But he's not from the fringes of the church. He's a controversial but much revered bishop (now retired) of the Episcopal Church in the United States, the equivalent of the Anglican Church in Australia.
He says that for Christianity to survive it must abandon the mythology of the Bible. His best known books 'Living in Sin', 'Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism' and 'Why Christianity Must Change or Die' have made him many enemies among conservative Christians.
