Compass - When a Baby Dies

This moving Compass story focused on ways of dealing with infant death, either still births or babies who only live for a few hours or days.
The program looks at organisations such as SANDS, who have been instrumental in gaining birth certificates for stillborn children and helping parents locate their babies who were taken away from their mothers in past decades. New methods for helping families come to terms with the loss are explored. At the conclusion, Geraldine Doogue interviews Andrew Dutney, a theologian from Adelaide, and Sue Emeleus, a hospital chaplain, both specialists in infant death.

This program is released for non theatrical use within educational, government and business organisations. Additional payments under a Screenrights licence are not required. Please contact us for Exhibition or Streaming Licences.
