Championship Sheep Dog Trials

World Championship Working Sheepdog Trials looks at country people and the great friendship and respect they have with their working dogs. Some of the best sheepdogs in the world congregated at the Scottsdale showground in Tasmania for the championships.
Ep 1 - Features mother and daughter competitors, Carol and Nikki Armstrong and the event coverage of two Victorian finalists, Bill Paton and Ross Dodge.
Ep 2 - Features animal trainer and competitor Al Hort and the event coverage of Henry Homan from Tasmania and ex pat New Zealander, Bernard McGlashan.
Ep 3 - Features a man who has overcome many obstacles to compete, John Haines, and the event coverage of Pip Hudson from NSW and Tasmanian Lionel Farrell.
Ep 4 - Features Victorian Lew Noble and Tasmanian Malcolm Taylor, the event coverage of them competing in the final and we find out who is the winner of the championship title.
This program is presented by ABC Country Hour's Clare Hammond, with commentary from ABC Journalist Campbell Cooney and champion dog handler Pip Hudson.
