ABC Commercial sends Figaro Pho on a worldwide adventure

ABC Commercial has sold new children’s animation series, THE ADVENTURES OF FIGARO PHO (13 x 22' HD and 39 x 8' HD) as well as interstitials FIGARO PHO (26 x 1.5'), to a number of broadcasters worldwide. Cartoon Network Latin America and Mongol TV have picked up both the longform and interstitials series. Meanwhile, Free TV in Mexico and Indonesia Free TV have bought the longform series.

Both versions feature Figaro Pho, a warm-hearted, adorable, quirky and mischievous character who just happens to be afflicted with a multitude of weird and wonderful phobias. So powerful is Figaro’s imagination that an entire madcap adventure can take place inside his mind the moment he sees something he fears.

"Figaro Pho is perfect for the international market, particularly as a series without dialogue. We are convinced it will delight children all over the world", said Frank Verheggen, Producer, Chocolate Liberation Front. “I feel privileged to have been involved in the production of Figaro Pho”, added David Webster, Producer, Ambience Entertainment.

The two series are the brainchild of renowned Australian director and children's book illustrator, Luke Jurevicius, and creative consultant Deane Taylor, who is well known for his Art Direction on Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. THE ADVENTURES OF FIGARO PHO was produced by Chocolate Liberation Front and Ambience Entertainment. The original series of interstitials, FIGARO PHO, was produced by Vishus Productions.
