Over 200 Hours Of In-Flight Sales

To Set Before a Queen - Black CaviarIn the 2011 - 2012 Financial Year, ABC Commercial secured more than 200 hours of sales to international and domestic in-flight entertainment services. These deals were secured as a result of a number of output deals and orders from new partners, from Asia through to the USA.

Most recently the current affairs title, TO SET BEFORE A QUEEN was sold to Qantas (1 x 28’) and PAINT THE TOWN BLACK (1 x 26’) was sold to Stellar In-flight.

Both programs look at the champion racehorse, Black Caviar, who took on Europe’s best at Royal Ascot and won, bringing her unbeaten streak to a total of 22 races. TO SET BEFORE A QUEEN tells the fascinating inside story of the making of Black Caviar, stretching back across the generations.

Deals with Finnair, British Airways, Emirates, Air New Zealand, and Air Canada for the comedy series LOWDOWN (16 x 30’ HD).

Two compiles of children’s programs sold to Qantas (2 x 90’), the first hosted by Giggle and Hoot for pre-schoolers and the second hosted by the ABC3 crew from Studio 3. AGONY UNCLES (6 x 30’ HD), MYF WARHURST’S NICE (6 x 30’), SPORTING NATION (3 x 55’ HD) and ROMEO AND JULIET (1 x 120’ HD) also sold to Qantas.

Sports documentary, CUP OF DREAMS (1 x 60’ HD) sold to Swissair, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Emirates, and British Airways.

Arts documentary, LIFE IN MOVEMENT (1 x 56’ HD and 1 x 79’ HD) sold to Lufthansa, Etihad, and Emirates.
