New-look ABC Organic Gardener magazine!

As the industry leader in organic gardening advice for more than 16 years, the new look will provide readers with a clean design that is clearer to read, as well as a perfect-bound format for easy reference on bookshelves. The revamped design better reflects Organic Gardener’s down-to-earth sustainable focus. The magazine will feature more diverse topics including interviews with organic growers and leading environmentalists, community gardening and natural health as well as a new section on ornamentals.

As well as a new look, the magazine will be welcoming some new writers to the team including Karen Sutherland, Arabella Forge (Frugavore and food blogger) and Helen McKerral (contributor/writer for Garden Drum). Organic Gardener magazine will continue to host trusted experts including Penny Woodward (gardening and horticultural editor), Peter Cundall (gardening), Jessamy Miller (poultry) and Dr Reese Halter (environment) and will continue to feature the same great quality journalism, photography and expert know-how you’ve come to expect from the ABC. The magazine was awarded Publication of the Year for 2013 - 2014 at the Horticultural Media Association Australia Awards.

We’ve retained our regular features and expert writers so readers will still enjoy great, in-depth knowledge and advice. We’ve also added a few new writers and sections such as ‘organic conversation’ where readers can get inspiration or fresh perspectives from key members of the organic or environmental movement.”
