Vital Systems is a six part series, developed for Australian secondary school students, which looks at the major systems of the human body. These include the muscular, skeletal, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, digestive, urinary and immune systems.
This episode examines the nervous and endocrine body systems which regulate the body. It includes an interview with a young male diabetic who explains the role of the hormone insulin.
