This original documentary series follows the actors as they compete for roles during the frenzied and chaotic US TV pilot season. The series captures all their excitement, frustrations, struggles, fears and tears as they compete with the world’s best and try to navigate the travails of the entertainment industry in LA.
Alycia Debnam-Carey, 18 (Sydney); HaiHa Le, 29 (Melbourne); Penelope Mitchell, 22 (Melbourne); Michael Clarke-Tokely, 22 (Melbourne); Craig Anderson, 35 (Sydney); and Luke Pegler, 30 (Sydney) allow our cameras to follow their every move as they pursue their dreams of fame and fortune in Hollywood’s dream factory.
Candid and upfront, the series explores what it takes to be an actor in the most competitive city in the world. Facing judgement and rejection on a daily basis, these six young actors open their lives and hearts to the cameras in an unflinching group portrait.
