The Mystery of Remote Ancestors

Covering over a century of scientific detective work by a combination of eminent Chinese, French and American archaeologists and paleoanthropologists, The Mystery of Remote Ancestors tells the story of the controversial archaeological discovery and investigation of two million year old early human remains in the remote Three Gorges region of China.

This DVD features live action and CG re-enactments of the daily lives and social structure of the ancient humans and the early scientific investigations that followed the discovery of mysterious fossils known as 'Dragon Bone'. Archive and contemporary footage and eyewitness and expert interviews illustrate the more recent archaeological excavations from 1984 until the present day, and the remarkable findings that have resulted.
