Message Stick - Long Grasses, The
Darwin has one of the largest populations of homeless Aboriginal people in the country. They're called the "Longgrasses", people who sleep under the stars either by choice or circumstance. To the authorities in Darwin they’re a nuisance and a growing problem so new laws have been introduced to deal with them. This program examines homelessness from the Longrasses perspective and those who try to help them.
This program is released for non theatrical use within educational, government and business organisations. Additional payments under a Screenrights licence are not required. Please contact us for Exhibition or Streaming Licences.
