Four Corners - Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Peter Reid reports on the case of Aboriginal woman Nancy Young, who is jailed for manslaughter after the death of her baby, supposedly of neglect.
'Out of Sight, Out of Mind' exposes the squalid living conditions of the Aboriginal community at Cunnamulla in Queensland.
Nancy Young is later released with the conviction quashed, when it is acknowledged that her daughter died from scurvy, which she contracted from the insanitary conditions of the Cunnamulla reserve.
