Compass - Just Enough Faith

We look at Jeff Gambin, a retired business man and gourmet chef, who devoted his life to the homeless, feeding them and helping them get back into society and find jobs.
A recent study based on the 1996 census found more than one hundred thousand people in Australia without a regular place to stay, for a range of reasons which defy some of the easy stereotypes. People have come upon a series of crises in their lives which have sent them on a bewildering downward spiral towards the streets.
Ironically as the economy flourishes in the cities, poorer people are being priced out. Increased rents, and tougher welfare tests all contribute to the growing number of people who find themselves homeless. On the principal of - There but for the grace of God go I, we look at one man's quest to reverse the downward spiral.
