Casualties of War
Casualties of War follows the personal journey of 28 year-old Chris as he adjusts to civilian life after serving in the army for 11 years with the elite special forces in East Timor. As a result of his service, Chris has a broken back, is partially deaf in one ear, has chronic damage to his leg, and suffers from post-traumatic stress which drove him to drugs, alcohol and isolation. Chris is unemployable in the civilian world. Is Chris an ignored casualty of war, the human face of modern day warfare in Australia? *Course Language, Adult Themes
