ABC Commercial signs content agreement with BritBox ahead of Australian launch

 

Sydney, Australia: ABC Commercial has announced it has reached a new content agreement with BBC and ITV SVOD platform BritBox to bring over 125 hours of high-quality UK factual and drama content to their Australian offering. The content package will contribute to BritBox’s portfolio of unrivalled British TV - from beloved classics, to the biggest shows direct from the BBC and ITV.

The distribution agreement includes a raft of documentary series from the world-renowned library of David Attenborough including: The Empire of the Ants (1x60’), Conquest of the Skies (4x60’), Galapagos (4x60’), Kingdom of Plants (4x60’), Life That Glows (1x60’) and Micro Monsters (3x60’).

The deal also includes a number of ‘box sets’ including Season 1-3 of the popular British drama Kingdom (18x60’), starring Stephen Fry, Season 1-7 of the beloved series Doc Martin (55x60’), and nine seasons of the hilarious UK sitcom Peep Show (54x30’).
